A great article from CollegeHumor (who seem to be more on my wavelength in recent years) about one of the most bizarre sitcom tropes. Makes me want write up A Brief History of Getting Pregnant in an Elevator, Getting Saved by your Dad’s Amazing Pool Skills, or The Bachelor Auction Survival Guide.

Rom Check Fail is a game that mashes up random elements of other games to create a hyper kinetic WarioWare style experience.  The goal in each level is the same: destroy all enemies onscreen.  But, the level structure, music, enemies, and your character itself is changed each time.  It does help to have a working knowledge of classic games so you can mentally switch from controlling Mario to Pac Man to the car from Spy Hunter on the fly.
